You can order numbers from least to greatest using place value.
Order the numbers 490, 415, 432, and 478 from least to greatest.
1. Compare the numbers starting with the thousands column. Then, compare the hundreds, tens, and the ones columns.
2. Write down the numbers in order from least to greatest.
   The least number will have the lowest value in the hundreds column (or the tens column if the hundreds are the same, or the ones column if the tens are the same).
