You can order numbers from greatest to least using place value.

Order the numbers 521,  570,  543, and 591 from greatest to least.

1. Compare the numbers starting with the hundreds column. Then, compare the tens, and ones columns.

2. Write down the numbers in order from greatest to least.

      The greatest number will have the highest value in the hundreds column (or the tens column if the hundreds are the same, or the ones column if the tens are the same).
