Ontario Curriculum Expectation:

6.E2.1 measure length, area, mass, and capacity using the appropriate metric units, and solve problems that require converting smaller units to larger ones and vice versa.

We use kilograms (kg), and grams (g) to measure mass (or weight) of objects.

Here is the weight of some objects that weigh 1 gram, or 1 kilogram.

Remember to use smaller units to measure lighter objects.
