Rainbow
Create a rainbow to show the spectrum of colours of visible light.
What You Need
- A set of crayons or coloured pencils
- A flashlight (one that has a narrow beam of light works best)
- A large bowl of water
- A mirror that will fit in the bottom of the bowl.
What You Do
- Place the bowl of water near a blank wall.
- Put the mirror in the bowl.
- Shine the flashlight at the mirror.
- Move the flashlight from side to side and up and down until you can see a rainbow on the wall or on the ceiling.
- Use crayons or coloured pencils to draw a picture of what you see on the back of this paper.
