Read The Experiment
Test Your Reflexes

Here is a simple experiment to test your reflexes. You will need a ruler and a partner.
- Hold the ruler near the end with the highest number and let the ruler hang down. Have your partner put his or her hand at the bottom of the ruler. Your partner should get ready to grab the ruler but they should not be touching it.
- Tell your partner that you will drop the ruler soon. Your partner should grab the ruler as soon as possible after you drop it. Record the level in centimetres where he or she catches the ruler. Try the experiment a few times, changing how soon you drop the ruler. Then switch roles and try it again.
The smaller the number of centimetres, the faster your reflexes.
